What is the difference between a Wave and a dark fibre?
A Wave (wavelength) provides you with an optical link at a defined data rate over a shared infrastructure operated by us: you benefit from a turnkey service, without having to manage the transmission equipment. Dark fibre gives you access to raw fibre, without any active equipment: you deploy your own equipment and have full control over capacity and protocols. The Wave prioritises simplicity; dark fibre offers total control.
What is LAN to LAN ?
LAN-to-LAN (or Layer 2 interconnection) connects multiple sites as if they belonged to the same local area network. Your equipment communicates seamlessly between data centers without intermediate routing, simplifying your architectures and facilitating multi-site redundancy.
What is IP transit?
IP transit is the service that enables your hosted infrastructure to access the entire Internet. NEXEREN provides high-performance, redundant access, with routing quality and availability suited to business environments.
Can I keep my own carrier?
Yes. Our data centres are neutral: you are free to use the provider of your choice. Our connectivity services are an optional extra, never a requirement.
How far can you transfer my data?
In addition to our own data centres, our network is connected to an extensive network of sites across France. This enables us to route your traffic to numerous third-party data centres and points of presence, depending on your architecture and interconnection requirements.
